This role is positioned to partner with a new business segment called Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) following the completion of the acquisition with A. Schulman. This new segment includes LyondellBasell’s legacy polypropylene compounds (PPC) business and the A. Schulman assets, Catalloy and polybutene-1.
Besides the responsibility for APS you will cover the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. GSC is responsible for and focused on creating value for our customers and trading partners. We optimize opportunities on the "buyer's side" as well as the "seller's side." We view the supply chain as an integral link that optimizes the flow of goods and services, and results in cost-efficient, quality output and superb customer satisfaction.

As a Senior HR Manager at LyondellBasell you are the link between the needs of the business and the global HR strategy. Across the European region you will serve as a senior advisor, counsel, and confidante to the APS & GSC leaders and their respective organizations. Your goal: shaping and driving strategic human resources activities to develop high-value capabilities across the business and geographies. You have one direct report and collaborate regularly with HR colleagues across the globe.
Besides acting as a trusted advisor to management you work closely with the appropriate HR Directors on key initiatives that will drive operational efficiency, improve overall quality and take cost out of the operations. Topics you will be busy with are strategies regarding talent management, leadership development, change management and operational excellence.
